API E.M. Erythromycin powder treats a range of bacterial infections in aquarium fish, using the diagnostic guide below to help identify what your fish may be suffering from.

Conditions Treated

Fin & Tail Rot: Ragged, split fins and tail, sometimes with secondary fungal "cottony" growth.
Open Red Sores: A bacterial infection causing sores ranging from small ulcers to deep skin lesions.
Mouth Fungus: A bacterial infection of the mouth and soft tissue that looks fungus-like, with red periphery.
Hemorrhagic Septicemia & Bacterial Gill Disease: Bloodstream infections with visible blood streaks, or heavy breathing with bright red gills.

For aquarium use only. Not for human consumption or treatment of fish intended for human consumption. This package treats up to 100 gallons.

Active Ingredient: 200 mg Erythromycin per packet.
Dosage: Empty one packet directly into the aquarium for each 10 US gallons (38 L) of water.
Repeat Dose: Repeat the dose after 24 hours. Wait another 24 hours, then change 25% of the aquarium water.
Full Course: Four doses are required for a full course of treatment; remove activated carbon from the filter and continue aeration during treatment.
