Safe® is the complete and concentrated dry conditioner for both fresh and salt water. It removes chlorine, chloramine and ammonia, converting ammonia into a safe, non-toxic form that is readily removed by the tank's biofilter.

Dry & Concentrated: The powdered form of Prime, offering the same protection in a more economical, shelf-stable format.
Cycling Aid: May be used during tank cycling to alleviate ammonia/nitrite toxicity.
Detoxifies Nitrite & Nitrate: Allows the biofilter to more efficiently remove them.
pH Neutral: Non-acidic and will not impact pH, and will not over-activate skimmers.

May be added to the aquarium directly, but it is better if added to new water first.

Dechlorination Dosage: Use 200 mg (1 scoop) per 200 L (50 gallons) to reduce chlorine and chloramine.
Ammonia Dosage: Use 200 mg (1 scoop) per 50 L (13 gallons) for ammonia.
High Chloramine: For exceptionally high chloramine concentrations, a double dose may be used safely.
Emergency Use: To detoxify nitrite and nitrate in an emergency, up to 4 times the normal dose may be used.
